tomorrow going to Civic district

Well tomorrow our class is going to the civic district and also tackle, what I predict, a tough and demanding IPW project. Tomorrow will be a very tiring day for me both physically and mentally for me. I have finish almost all of my home work and after which will be revising for my compo test given by Miss Chia tomorrow.

The oral test was not bad actually I actually calmed down rather then being all tensed up like the other years but I made a major hiccup I...I used a 'was' in the picture AHHH made big mistake Miss Chia said sooooo many times but I used 'was'. Whats over is over aka let bygones be bygones (heehee) and look forward into the future so we can improve on our skills. .

Even If the girl accidentally spilled her drink on the floor she should get the attention of her classmate to help her or get a cleaner to help he not stand there and do nothing.

Conclusion

I think it is good if you celebrate a birthday party with your friends and teachers but if we encounter any problems, so that we can have a great time there.

There is a lady who is buying chicken rice at the chicken rice stall and is waiting for the food to be served.

I think the woman looks hungry and cannot wait tho eat the chicken rice.

There is a family who are at the hawker centre and are having a big meal. They seen to be enjoying their meal.

I think going out as a family is a great way to bond with the family and I feel that it a great time to catch up with each other after a busy day of work.

Scenario 3: cause and effect

There is a stall opposite the chicken rice stall which is the prawn noodle stall I can see that it does not have any customers. I think the reason is because the stall looks unhygienic and full of flies.

Personal response

I think, this is wrong because if we do not keep our hygiene, people will start to keep a distance away from us and will slowly not want to near us at all. I think he should clean himself and his shop so that people will buy his stuff.

Scenario 3: Wrong and consequence

There is a waiter who I think is serving a cup of drink to the lady but he slipped over a banana peel and fell down.

Personal response

I think The waiter cannot help it because he accidentally stepped on a banana peel but I think the woman will be very angry when he spills the drink on the lady and if it does, he should apologize to the lady whom he spill the drink too.

Conclusion

I think when we are at the hawker centre, we must observe proper hygiene especially at the stalls in the hawker center so that

This picture shows a scene at a school fitness corner at Yu Yeng Primary School. I think the reason that they are there is because they are having recess. they seem to be having lots of fun there.

Scenario 1: cause and effect
There is a girl on the floor and her arms seems to be bleeding profusely by the fall. The is a boy who I think saw what was happened to the girl and is now going to comfort the girl there is an element of worry on the boys face. The boy who is hanging on the monkey bar seems to be at a lost of actions. I think he looks worried because go if he lets go, he may fall on to the girl.

Personal response
I think the Action of the boy is good because he is trying to help a stranger he does not know. I think the boy should hold on to the monkey bar for a little longer or he may suggest to call for an adult to help him get down from the monkey bar.

Scenario 2: wrong and consequence
There are two boys who are playing soccer and they look like they are having a great time playing.

Personal response
I think this is wrong because if one of the boys kicks the ball to hard and the other fails to catch it, it may hit some thing and damage the school property or worse it may hit someone with great force and that can cause an injury, I think they should go to the filed to play instead.

Conclusion
I think we must ensure our safety at all times when we are playing so to ensure that we do not endanger other people lives and in return, have fun.

This picture shows a scene in a school staircase. there are students and teachers using the staircase.

Scenario 1: cause and effect and wrong and consequence.
There is a boy who is running down the stairs has knocked into a teacher carrying a stack of assessment books and the books are tumbling down the stairs and the teacher seems like she is off balance and is about to fall down.There is another teacher just about to climb up the flight of stairs when the boy is rushing down and the looks shocked when he was going to collide with the teacher. Unfortunately the The teacher is holding a cup of hot coffee.

personal response
I think this is wrong because he knocks the teacher with the cup of hot coffee, and the coffee spill and scalds the teacher, he will land into hot soup. I think he should walk down slowly instead of rushing down, what if the teacher with the hot coffee turns out to be a pregnant teacher he would land himself into greater trouble.

Scenario 2: cause and effect
There is a boy and a girl who saw the incident and went forward to help the teacher pick up the books that have fell out of the teachers hands.

Personal response
I think what they are doing is correct because they are helping the teacher to pick up the books that have fallen out of her hand.

Conclusion
When coming down the stair case climbing up, we must remember not to run play on the stair as that can be potentially dangerous for you and other people climbing up the stairs.

There are two adults are adding some more food into the food container. They seem to enjoy what they are doing.There are also two children looking and pointing at the cake, I think they like the cake.

I think a lot of people like that dish that the two adults have to top up the food container so that they could further indulge in the dish.

Scenario 2: wrong and consequence
There are two boys who are snatching a present from each other. I think the gift is from the two boys and one of them wants to give the present to their grandpa but they cannot decide who gives the present to their grandpa

personal response
I think this is wrong because if they continue to snatch the present, they may tear the wrapper and the present would not be a surprise anymore.I think they should hand over the present together and not to quarrel over a present.

Scenario 3: normal
There is a girl who is using two hands to present her gift to her with a smile on her face and her grandpa is smiling back.

Personal response
I think what the girl is doing, handing over the present with two hands is a form of respect and from that,I can infer that she is a polite girl.

Scenario 4: wrong and consequences
There is a suspicious looking man with a sneaky grin is pouring an unknown liquid into the fruit punch bowl.

Personal response
This is extremely wrong because if the liquid turns out to be a poison and if someone drinks it, the person could be in serious trouble.

Conclusion
The birthday party looks and sounds fun how I wish I could be there but we must keep a look out for suspicious if not it could mean us harm.

There are lots of student supporters on the spectator stand cheering for their house. They all look like thy are cheering for their house

I think this action will give the competitors a great boost of their desire to win so they could continue to swim even though they are loosing an that shows the value of resilience.

Scenario 2: cause an effect and wrong and consequence
There is boy who is swimming in the green lane is having trouble staying afloat I think he just had a leg cramp and is struggling in the water. There is a life guard who is on the phone is oblivious that the boy is quickly drowning. The timer is furiously pointing to the boy and alarming the life guard to save the boy.

Personal response
I think this is wrong because if the timer fails to warn the life guard that the boy is drowning , the boy may drown as a result. The life guard should have done his job properly and not accept the phone call, because of that he might be able to save the boy.

Scenario 3: cause and effect
At the announcers table, the announcer sitting in the center has a pile of paper spread out on the table and is having a difficult time weighing the papers down that some of the papers are flying all over the place.But the other announcers sitting beside her does not seem to be affected by all the papers flying.

Personal response
I think the announcer should bring a paper weight and use it instead of catching them and making a big mess in the end.

Conclusion
At a swimming competition, we must be aware on what is happening as it may be serious, in that way, we can help save lives within the shortest amount of time.

There is a old man lying on the bed with his leg in a cast, I think his leg is fractured. he looks tired and worn out. beside him is a efficient nurse showering concern to the old man.

personal response
I think the nurse fluffing up the pillow for the old man to make the pillow comfortable to the patient. The old man is giving a grateful smile, I think he is trying to thank the nurse to ensure he gets a speedy recovery.

scenario 2 cause and effect, wrong and consequence
There are a boy and a girl whom are playing catching in the ward and they are laughing while chasing each other. a woman whom I think is their mother, is fuming mad and giving an angry stare at them.

Personal response
I think what they are doing is wrong because the hospital is a place where we must keep our voice down because there are other patient trying to recover from their sickness, and in order to do that we must visit the patients at visiting hours to ensure they get enough rest and revive treatment

Conclusion
As visitors we must obey to the hospitals rules and regulations in order to give the patient enough treatment to recover.

Introduction:

This picture shows a scene at a beach. The beach is packed with people. I think it is a public holiday as there is lots of people from all ages at the beach and are having a whale of a time.

Scenario 1: wrong and consequence

There are two boys who are playing with their beach ball along the sea shore. They look like they are having fun.

Personal response

I think that this is wrong because if one of the boys throws the ball too hard or fails to catch the ball ball, it may land in the sea. This is potentially dangerous because if the boys try to retrieve the ball, they may get swept away by the strong current and this would cause him to wash out further into the sea, with a huge chance of him drowning in the open waters.

Scenario 2: wrong and consequence

There is a boy and a girl swimming without any adult supervision . They look like they are enjoying themselves thoroughly from the looks on their faces.

Personal response

I think that this is wrong because there is no adult supervising them. This could result in them unknowingly drift too far out to the open sea. The potential or drowning is imminent as they are only young children.

Scenario 3: normal

There are 3 children building a sand castle on the beach. They seem to be on the way to build a beautiful sandcastle. While there are two girls sculpting, a boy whom i think has gone to fetch some water is back with a bucket-full of it. By the looks on their faces, they are concentrating on what they are doing.

scenario 4: normal

There is a woman sitting on a large stone playing a song on her guitar to a girl who i think is her daughter. From the looks of the girls face and the clapping of her hands, i can tell she is really enjoying herself.

Personal response

I think it is a great idea to introduce a child to music at a young age, so as to hone their interest in music, thus enhancing their appreciation for music and the arts.

Conclusion

When at the beach, we can always have a great time but we must always follow the rules and regulations in order for us to have a great time.

Sungei Buloh Wetland reserve field trip

On Monday 12.4.2010 we went to the Sungei Buloh wetland reserve. After a long 1hr journey, we finally got there we then met up with the guide that has guided me through since p4-p6 Mrs Wong

She then told us the science topics that are going to be used in the trip and after the usual intro she bought us to a show room where we saw a giant blob like thing, she said it was a mud lobster mound and it is a community much to me amazement and there were many animals living there like snakes, ants, spiders etc. She also thought us that the wetland reserve is a second home for the migrative birds that pass here every year.

Now let me share with you the 3 things that fascinated me.

1) the flora and fauna of the mangrove

reason:the mangroves are unique in their own way cause they have special characteristics that help them survive, like the mangrove tree have aerial roots that can allow then to breathe and when you add salt water to a plant it will die but the mangrove have a special salt extraction method to remove the salt in the salty water out of the leaf and evaporates away.

2)The wide variety of animal in the mangrove.

reason:If there is a way for all the mangroves to survive, there is no reason that other organisms can live there like the kingfisher or the mudskipper they have some structural/behavioural adaptations to survive in the environment like for example the mudskipper it has modified fins to help it move on land (structural), on land it holds water in its gill chambers so it can breathe(behavioural) and when its oxygen in its gill chambers run out, it will simply breathe through its skin(structural)

3) the way the mangroves help other organisms.

reason: The mangroves acts as a nursery for baby organisms to hide and grow so they can be healthy and find their own food when thy grow up. The mangroves also help people to i acts as a barrier that protects us form soil erosion and tsunami. For the soil erosion, the mangroves hook the soil together so they do no flow away and for the tsunami, it acts as a breaker for the waves so the land behind it is not so damaged as those without mangroves.

conclusion of the trip: The mangroves are very important to our ecosystem, ourselves and other organisms. We should not clear it as we will cause ourself and the ecosystem so we must preserve it for the protection of future generations to do research on it.

the three day motivational talk really made me want to change my life (but I need some time to do that) they thought about our (R: right, L:left) brain. Our L brain is the one who is in control of all our subjects and our R brain is the one that controls all our FUNN activities that we do in our daily life.

when we study, that is where sometimes things get very boring, so our right brain also gets bored, so we do something stupid and TIO(aka get it) or we spin our pen shake our leg etc. but if the teacher finds out, you also TIO so how? well just bear with it.

Candice also thought us that what friend you mix with determines whether you succeed in life or not if you mix with a crap friend, the"friends"will pull you down and will not let you be free. let me tell you about a story that is related to this topic.

There was once a fish monger who catches a lot of fishes and those were the freshest in the village and with every 2 fishes each customer bought, they will receive 1 crab free.

One day, a customer looked at the crab basket and asked the fishmonger,"why are the crabs doing nothing are they dead?." but the fishmonger just said,"Why not you just take a look"

just then he saw a crab crawling out of the basket then he shouted in crab,"We are FREE!!"then the other crabs said ,"me fwend soo fun." so they pull him down. The crab thought "nooooooo hope already."

the customer now under stood why the friend that want to get out but his crap friends pulled him down so he cannot get out.

Butt there is a solution ......BE A FRUIT FLY!!..... you all will go WADD? AAAHHA this is where you are wrong a fruit fly has a freaking short so they must lead their life to the fullest. they will take 100% responsibility in wad they do. so they win.

we also must mostly treasure our parents .our parents brought us to this world took care of us etc. if we do not treasure them, and when they go, we will be alone and regret for all your life. soo it is important so go... give your parents a hug and say the 3 magical words ..I LOVE YOU...so GOO!!
